Move & Nourish Florida: Lifestyle-Based Intervention to Reduce Cardiovascular Risk Among Breast and Prostate Cancer Survivors.
Move & Nourish Florida is a lifestyle-focused intervention designed to improve cardiovascular health among breast and prostate cancer survivors. The program examines how physical activity, nutrition, and behavioral support can reduce chronic disease risk while promoting overall health and well-being after cancer treatment.

Intersection of Physical and Mental Health in Head and Neck Cancer Survivors: Data Driven Approach to Precision Survivorship Care
Head and neck cancer survivors often face both physical and mental health challenges after treatment. In this study, we examined whether survivors with a greater burden of metabolic health conditions, such as obesity, diabetes, and hypertension, were more likely to experience depression and anxiety. We also evaluated physical activity levels, an important factor influencing both metabolic and mental health. Findings from the NIH All of Us Research Program may help identify survivors at higher risk and inform future survivorship interventions.

This research program explores the social, behavioral, and health-related factors that influence mental health among women across the lifespan. Areas of focus include healthcare access, social support, nutrition, physical activity, and chronic disease prevention, with the goal of identifying opportunities to improve health outcomes and reduce disparities.
STRIDE-HNC: Survivorship Risk Stratification through Integrated Behavioral, Mental, and Metabolic Profiling in Head and Neck Cancer.
STRIDE-HNC seeks to better understand the diverse experiences of head and neck cancer survivors. Using clinical, behavioral, and health-related data, we identify patterns of survivorship that can help healthcare providers recognize patients at greater risk for poor outcomes and tailor supportive care strategies accordingly.
